Employment and Litigation

We provide a comprehensive document service. We draft and review employee documentation including recruitment, hiring, discipline and termination letters, staff handbooks, policies and procedures, contracts, service agreements and settlement agreements. We also help with revisions and provide updates.

We deal with all forms of discrimination, victimisation and harassment including age, race, sex, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marital status, religion or belief, and disability

We operate in partnership working as an extension to HR and management teams. We conduct and support all types of HR issues including investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings, absence management, redundancy (individual and collective consultation) and TUPE situations including planning and implementation.

We act in the High Court, County Court, Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal in breach of contract, discrimination, redundancy, unfair dismissal and wrongful dismissal claims and other disputes relating to contracts of employment and service agreements, injunctive relief in employee competition, restrictive covenants and team moves.

We have experience in managing bulk settlement agreement projects (designing and implementing the process) and acting as independent advisers in large scale redundancy and reorganisation exercises.

We deliver a variety of bespoke HR workshops and training programmes which include the practical and effective management of absence, disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings, equality and diversity, redundancy and reorganisations, TUPE and employment law for managers.
